Precision Notch Weighting
Precisely positions more weight to the perimeter of the iron to create a higher moment of inertia (MOI) for greater forgiveness and stability while maintaining the center of gravity position that produces ideal trajectories and feel.

Tour-Inspired Head Shape
Our engineers took elements designed for Tour players, like a thinner top line and narrower sole, and incorporated them into highly forgiving irons with a higher MOI so they can be played by a wide range of golfers.

Modified Tru-Bore
An advanced version of the original Tru-Bore design, the polycarbonate tip plug at the end of the shaft dampens vibration for enhanced feel and performance.

VFT Technology
Callaway X-22 Irons VFT Technology maximizes ball speed and perimeter weighting for more distance and forgiveness; S2H2 increases discretionary weight by removing it from the hosel and repositioning it in the perimeter of the clubhead; 360-Degree Undercut Channel maximizes perimeter weighting by moving the CG lower and farther back in the clubhead, enlarging the hitting area and stabilizing the clubhead for more forgiveness.

  Thiner face, nice irons, though looks smaller, but gave shots feels much better

  I purchased the X-22 irons over a year ago after comparing with the Ping G15, Mizuno MX-1000 and the Callaway Diablo Edge. I got the regular flex graphite shafts. Unlike others I love the Callaway grips. For me these irons were slightly shorter than the the Mizunos and the Diablo Edge. About the same distance as the Pings. They were the most accurate and had the most back spin.

  I have played for a long time, but believed I needed the stability of a cast set of irons, but these clubs have convinced me otherwise. They are silky smooth and as long as my Burner irons. Most importantly, when I need to I can work the ball. Perhaps a little more right to left than left to right, but my swing sets up that way.

  it is in the game-improvement, and super game-improvement space where Callaway has made the biggest impact. I love these x-22.

  they are great to look at at address, the clubs are well worth the money, these calloway x22 are more forgiving, you can work the ball and they are longer! I did not think they could but Callaway has out done themselves!!

  played these X-22 irons today for the first time. They provide a smooth feel during the swing - much better than the Mizuno cavity backs Ive been playing with for the last 12 years.

  When I saw these irons set with the hybrids Iknew these were the ones I wanted. I have been using Callaway clubs for a long time starting with Big Bertha to Great Big Bertha and then to another set of Big Bertha's. Now I knew it was time to change again and when I saw the X-22 set it sold me right away. Also love the design on them very up-scale.

  although I havenot play with x-22 irons for a long time, i feel they are good, they have good distance control, with them, i also am easy to hit a higher and long ball, really like them.

  These x-22 IRONS are great. A little heavier than my Big Bertha 2008 irons, which suits me better. They made the contact feel better and was it more consistent. Easy to hit.
